CETME Black Widow handguard

Hi, Can anyone tell me if the black synthetic handguard"s made by Century and used on the Black Widow CETME's have a heat shield in them like the G3 origionals. Thanks, Mike.

I'm sure that won't go over well with the missus...

Somewhere on the forum is a diagram of a heat shield that you can print out and cut your own heat shield out of roof flashing or tin or whatever you have laying around ..

I toyed with buying some g-3 handguards at the last show I walked just to get some heat shields. They were so inexpensive that it would be cheeper than buying and makeing one from sheet aluminum or steel.
