Anyone have and or use one? Do they clean as advertised? How long does the solution hold up? I'm tired of cleaning primer pockets and brushing out cases. Any better than the others?
I have no problem dropping the money if it works as they say but I don't trust the adverts. I've seen too many miracle tools and devices that were a joke. The reviews from people I am not familiar with are better than nothing but I would feel better hearing from one of you.

Funny you mention this. When I was younger I was into full-sized cap gun replicas. They use ammo kind of like blanks (they cycle, feed, eject, make noise and smoke and are dirty as heck!).

Since the caps are reusable, many owners found that the best way to clean them was in ultrasonic jewelry cleaners. One fellow posted pics of a cheap little model he got for I think $40.00 and it would clean out the caps sparkling new.

If anything I would buy a cheap jewelry one and give it a try; don't spend extra money on the same thing with a fancy label or gun manufacturer's name stickered on. (I say this because I bought a humidifier for my safe for $12.00 at a local super market and saw the EXACT same model for $30.00 at a retail outlet except it had Remington stickered over the front.) :icon_confused:

I have a used dental unit. About 3 qts and love it. I tumble, resize then clean with the AS. Looks like new.

This is the one I use to clean gun parts.

Small but effective.

I put the parts I want to clean in a zip lock baggie, then add the cleaning solution , zip lock the baggie shut and place it in the UC pan, then fill the pan with water to cover the baggie, then run as needed.

This way the parts get clean and the UC says clean.

I took the plunge on the Lyman ultrasonic cleaner. They say it can do 250 - 308 cases. So far I have only done several loads of 50 to 75 but there is room for plenty more. I looked around at several of the same size but did not see any more than a couple of dollars cheaper. So far, I am very happy with not having to clean primer pockets. Still trying different order of doing things to find what will work best for me. I'm anxious to see how it does on other parts usually best cleaned with a tooth brush. Thanks for the input.
