enfield # 5 jungle bayonet

bought a jungle carbine bayonet at the gun show a wile back. not shure if its original, its suposedly unisued but im starting to wonder, but I have never seen a reproduction with the canvas frog before. any one got info to help

Those Australian Fal bayonets look a lot like the No5 carbine ones...to me. I wanted one of those (No5 bayo)when I was kid and they had one at Hodge Army/Navy in Marietta (Dobbins AFB). It was too much for my 10yo budget ($20).

Atlanta Cutlery was selling those awhile back. My buddy bought one & was disappointed that it didn't fit his #5. Anyone can put a canvas frog on the scabbard; I have a dozen in a box right now.

if it says RFI on the blade it is Rifle Factory Ishapore and it is a replica bayonet. Atlanta Cutlery and IMA were selling these a while back.
It could also be a Sterling MK4 commercial bayonet, there have been a few of those around unissued too.
