i have been buying some of my parts from PALMETTO STATE ARMORY LLC for a while and have been very happy with what i have gotten from them. all the parts have fit well and work good in the rifles.
as some of you know we are building several AR's for my grandsons and when your buying parts i like to get them as cheap as i can, but i don't want to buy junk in the process. so far so good with them.
i just ordered some bolt carrier's charging handles and lower parts kits.
the bolt carrier group is $89.95 and you can add a charging handle for $10. for each of them. (total $99.95 )
(i only got 3 sets this time i will get a few more next time they put them on sale)
the lower parts kits are $42.99.
( i got 5 LPK's)
(shipping and insurance is only$6.44 for this order)
they have a bunch of other stuff for ar's at very good prices.
(for example they have there brand of lowers for $49.99)
i just noticed that DSA INC. has there ZM-4 uppers on sale again for $275. 16" barrel.

I have heard all good things from PSA as well. Never bought anything but if I catch the BCG on sale for that price I will jump on one.

PSA's receivers are very nice. I live about 90 minutes from them and stopped by while I was in Cloumbia for some sports stuff for one of the boys. I picked up the $49.99 lower, upper with port door and F/A ($99), a premium BCG and added the $10 charging handle and a Magpul LPK. The store was pretty nice with very good prices and an excellent staff who was not frazzled by the volume of customers. I give them a big  Plus they gave me a few free hats and Da Ol' Lady a free Streamlight key ring flashlight.
What I think is kinda neat is their logo is marked on the upper, lower and the bolt carrier. Nice to have a SC marked gun since I am from SC.
The last few parts I need for this build are the 16" 1/7 Bushmaster barrel, butt stock stuff and a rear sight.
BTW, Pigpen, your welcome.

i got a notice that my parts are out for delivery today.
we get the grandsons M-T-W each week and have been working on the back yard. it finally rained some yesterday, we really needed it.
next monday ( if it is raining or muddy) the 2 grandsons and i are going to build at least 2 AR's. maybe we will build a few more of them. the youngest of the 2 is very mechanical minded and has watched us a couple times and grasps stuff quickly.

At those prices you can get two for the price of one ;) I'm definitely going to have to sell off some of the safe queens now ;(

I recently placed an order to PSA; shipped very fast but it did not include the forward assist assembly in the box. It was on the packing invoice though. One call to them and they shipped it right out no questions asked. Another big +1 to them.

I am going to build another soon since lowers are so cheap presently. Going for a full sized version with a heavy barrel. I had alot of luck with Bravo Company and Del Ton. I am going to look into the places mentioned. I already built an M4gery off stag lower and Del Ton 5.56 upper chrome lined, Del Ton flat top upper, CMT AUTO "mpi" bolt assembly, DPMS internals. The upper and lower match up perfectly and w/o needing a wedge.

A new guy at work wanted to get an AR and I suggested the PSA since he is on a tight budget. I will get a range report on one of their completed rifles as soon as he gets it. BTW I saw DPMS has their Sportical(?) for the same price. It doesn't have the tower sight which might be a plus to many.
