There was a video of Perro shooting his on the old site. Looked like a lot of fun. As I remember there was something different about the trigger.

I think they are ugly but good interesting. I really like that they shoot 7.62 * 39. I am almost tempted to by one just on that fact. I think if they were tripod mounted I would. Or maybe if they were a little cheaper. Either way its a cool gun!

looks like it has been well cared for.

Me, I'd like to get something along the lines of a PKM, I just don't think I can justify the cost...

I saw that a bit ago when he first put it up for sale. I REALLY wanted to pick it up but with the mp40 I had to stray away. Nice score.

loaded the drums to take it to the range, but we had bad weather and i never made it to the range. that was over 3 years ago. maybe some day.

yes, if it is a Vector Arms built RPD it has an incredibly long trigger pull on it. alot of fun to shoot, but just a long trigger pull.

Im sure i have told you about this before, but i know a guy who had a Vector Arms RPD blow up in his hands and it sent shrapnel into his hands.

I also had major problems with my Vector produced RPD, and if i would have shot it before checking it out really well first, mine would have blown up also.

lift the top cover and the feedtray and you will see a feedramp inside of the barrel on top of the gun.
now lower the feedtray and seat it firmly and look to see if any of the feedramp protrudes below the feedtray.
If it does, i would be very hesitant to shoot it. i would cycle a few rounds through the gun and make sure that each and every one loads completely. Then hand eject each round from the chamber and look for compressed bullets which have been pushed deeper in the case, deformed bullets, or crooked bullets.
I have heard of others who have had to send there vector rpd back because of mis machined feed ramps.

might want to double check before pulling the trigger the first time - especially if the guns will eventually go to your grandchildren.

if you have any question about what im talking about i can show you photos of what im talking about.

If its not a Vector produced RPD then disreguard

i was going to buy a new one from vector and the price was the same as a new one. his daughter was killed in a car wreck and the x son in law was going to trial for it. he needed money fast so i figured it helped both of us.

I've really been bit by the belt fed bug. A shoulder fired one like that seems like it'd be a lot of fun.
