A friend of mine has one of these, I am fairly sure his was made in Germany, can't remember just now. It is well made and shoots nice, i have fired it for one full mag. . My only fault with it is the handguard does not fit it tight. He claims it was made that way, I say BS. No one would make such a rifle with loose parts like that, and if it were a true select fire it would shake itself apart. And, it sure is not cheap. I may see him this weekend and try and take some pics of his.

I don't know how I missed this thread. I have had one of these rifles for two years now. 200 were imported into the U.S. by PTR and known as the PTR44.
Last OCT.
my op-rod/ carrier broke and had to replace it with a original MP44 unit, the bolt had to be modified to fit the original (MP44) carrier. All is well now.
