parts hunting 101.
many times i see people looking for a parts. me included.
i usually assume that everyone knows what the part or parts look like.
the problem with that is some parts are called by one person a different name than what some one else calls it.
even for some guns the parts may be different for the same model # .
i am thinking that if some one is needing a part that they could take a few moments and find a picture of exactly what they are looking for and post the picture.
i have thousands of old gun parts in boxes and if i have a small clue of what i am looking for, it may help me know where i need to go look.
yea! i know i am an old guy and sometimes i just need a little extra help.
i may not have said this the best way, but hopefully most of you will get an idea of what i am trying to say.
