Howdy, all:

Hey, I just got the wind up 75rd. drum that you have to load thru the mag top, and click it each time (not the open-up kind).

I want to open it and clean it, it hasa I see a nut thingy on the front...Anybody know what happens if you take one of these apart 4 cleaning? I'd hate to pop 10 feet of coiled leaf-spring ribbon outta there and fook it up, then have a nightmare re-assembly.

So anybody done a disassembly on these?

FYI:

Opening up the drum:

The knob on the back should turn counter clockwise while keeping pressure on it, allowing access to the inside.

There should be a "bar" in the middle of the knob in the back. Get a screwdriver, and press down on that "bar". Then you can turn the knob, and remove it. Then off comes the back cover.

__ETA---

Took it apart this weekend and cleaned it, then shot it. Works nice. The disassembly is to press the cented lever/button in the nut down, twist knob 1/2 turn (90 deg) then remove. then the cover comes rite off.

It was crappy with cosmo on the outside, the inside was pretty clean. feed lips were a bit durty.
