SCAR info needed

I have a buddy that is looking at 5.56 SCARs. What's the going price and where is the best place to buy one online?

Frrom my research into buying one, which I will be doing shortly, you need to find a local dealer that deals in FN. That and gunbroker were the only 2 places I could find them. The local dealer here in GA was inline with GB prices.

They will be on Battlement Arms site in a few days, I hope... If not he can e-mail or call. Black and Desert. Prices you see on GB are about as good as it gets, within 50 to 100 bucks. Unless you go to a really big shop that stocks a lot of FNH USA stuff and gets a bigger dealer discount.

There was one on Texasguntrader a few weeks ago. I think it was around 1500$.

If your Friend can wait another 6 months or so I see the price dropping on these Rifles. (>$1500.) Right now they are the "Flavor of the Month". The weak economy won't support that kind of pricing for long. Wile no doubt it is a fine rifle I would not pay the entry price at this time.

I paid $2550 for my 17 6mo ago and now that's about dealers cost. Everytime the US$ drops the SCARs go up.
