I have a nice (but ugly) Colt upper with the straight barrel "post-ban" style.

Does anyone manufacture an EASY do it yourself flash hider that does not require threading the barrel?

Maybe a glue on type flash hider?

Thanks in advance.

I"m not sure about press on flash hiders, but depending on where you live, having the barrel threaded is not expensive or problematic.

Might be a cheaper alternative than finding a non standard muzzle device.

Some variants of barrels were made with a relief to allow attachment of a muzzle device with set screws. If you barrel was there might be a way to attach one without threading, I think bushmaster and olympic made ban breaks, and I imagine they might have some flash hiders now.

If not, threading might be the best way to go, or maybe find another barrel, really they are not that expensive either. Well I say not expensive but more than threading by a bit though.
