Some time, I'm going to get around to putting on my G3 triple-frame and sit a practise grenade on it for a laugh. Now, I know I asked this on the old forum, but which types work? Is it the 22mm's like the Israelis use, the M31 that fits the Garand or something else?

Thanks in advance!

Thought it was the 22mm, which is I believe is the nato standard.

22mm is nato standard, as okie said, and will work on the G3 or just about any other nato rifle

that said, the G3 isnt the best rifle grenade platform, as there is no "gas cutoff", and thus alot of the gas required to launch the grenade is bled off through the breech

Remember if you have one for this, it will fit your yugo sks, and aks, as they along from what I have read most of the world adopted the 22mm for rifle grenades, if they are issued.

For those newbies out there....only use blanks for firing your practice grenades. Unless, of course, you want your gun to explode.
