I'm doing the old multi today. A little 9mm, a bit of 30-30, and a smidgen of 7.62x51.....For dessert I think I'll do some berdan conversion...To top off the afternoon I'm going to pack the cases with 3031 salad on the rifle calibers and bullseye for garnish on the pistol.
The music of the tumbler waltz is truly enthralling.
The sickness must be greeted and never shunned.

I had a first take place this afternoon during my session. I was priming one of the 7.62 and the thing detonated...My left hand was near the top of the press for some reason or other and there is pinhead sized hole in the palm of my hand just below the thumb..nothing deep, but it did sting quite a bit..It scared the crap out of me.
As Gomer Pyle would say "Surprise surprise!"
It helps to remember that things can happen at any time when doing this stuff.

i spent most of the morning at the bench today. our first day that was not in the 90's for some time. worked up fifty 22-250 and fifty 308. my time was uneventful today, but you are right things can go wrong at any time.

Good Lord! 22-250 is faster than the phasers in Star Trek...A lot of push behind that 22.

Yep, Sundays are good for God, guns and reloading.
I just got done a little while ago switching bullets in 100 .30-06 cases and last week I loaded a couple boxes of .220 Swift, I use a 50 grain bullet in those. This evening I will probably load up some more 06's for the Garand.

.220 Swift brings back memories. I've an uncle, passed in 1988, that believed a man with any sense should shoot one rifle and one rifle only that shot the caliber. He was born, raised, and died in Berwick, La., and was perhaps one of the finest marksman ever. No scopes for him, but everything he shot was dropped in its tracks. He purchased that rifle when the round was first available and remained loyal to it for life. I wish that I could have gotten his rifle.
