When referring to the President on this forum, call him by name or his rank. No pejorative names please. Even if you don't respect the man, respect the office. This has been our policy since the beginning here. Some of you seem to be forgetting.

Could you post a list of them so I know which ones are pejorative?

:icon_biggrin:Just kidding a bit K,,,,you are absolutely right, even if it wasn't a rule here, it's bad patriotic form. I may have been guilty, if so I appologize.

You know, I might be more concerned about respect for BHO if the other side had shown even the least respect for Mr. Bush. But they routinely ripped him.

But considering you want us to show respect, I suppose it would not be a good idea for me to explain my idea of the correct pronunciation for "BHO."

However, I do respect the Office, and most importantly, I do not wish to be banned from here.

Agree Mitch, 100%, but I like to think we set the standard for what is right, not lower ourselves to their level. POTUS, The President and examples are terms that show the correct level of respect for the office. I too hope it becomes Former President.

As a former videographer in broadcast news I must say that although I agree with you K, this is one reason the liberal/progressives et al alway's kick our conservative rear ends...WE ALWAY'S TAKE THE HIGH ROAD and do what's right while that scum scraps the bottom of the pit and uses all sort's of misinfo and misleading tactics to smear the conservative and his viewpoint's.

Of course being that these people control the media, schools/universities, union's and such it's not a wonder that they can control the message!

As a black conservative with 8 yrs military service I was treated like a pariah when I worked in broadcast "news" so I see and know this as fact.

WE need to get "dirty" with these people at some point...the COUNTRY and CULTURE is at STAKE!!!

sorry excuse my passion...lol

I apologize for anything that may have been taken as making fun of him by using a silly name or any name calling. If anything I have said added any "fuel" to the "fire" I am sorry. The great thing about Obama is he gives us plenty of reason's to hate his presidency without having to resort to name calling. Even his liberal worshipers can't argue with the facts, even though some may try.

I cannot think of any specific instances right off the top of my head, but I am CERTAIN that I am an offender, and for that I do apologize. Good form is always good in a good forum... (see what I did there?)
