I found the M 14 picture section facinating, there are pictures from the 1960s , 80s, 90s and now. I liked the photos of Airmen and Sailors with rifles. I realised the M 14 is like the B 52 bomber.
We do not have anything to fill it's shoes. The USA will still be using modified M 14 rifles well into this century.
