Watch a B-29 fly inverted, do a loop, and an Immelmann.

Men and boys and the price of their toys, this truly amazing!! Full
aerobatic, even!

This aircraft runs on four chainsaw engines. You can just imagine how
much time,
effort, skill and money these guys have put into this thing. Just
remarkable!

:wohow:That is really cool! My grandad flew on one of those in WWII (pacific) 500th bomb wing. On the Pacific Queen 50 missions! Again that was cool!

Yeah Planning... then it flying upside down! I wonder if they ever tried that with a real one?

Way Too Cool, I love watching the experts fly those things. My cousin's
husband and his dad fly models all the time, Cory ask if I wanted to fly
one once but I was afraid I would destroy it. He has a paved runway in
his back yard.

That is cool, in the air it looks like a real B 29, the rocket plane was the Bell X1 I take it

I'm guessing probably not... but... if there was a guy who could have done it, it'd probably be Tex Johnston...

That's him rolling a 707... well, actually, it was the 707, the prototype, the only one then in existence.
I've seen better quality footage of the same event... he actually did it once, went downrange a bit, turned around, and did it AGAIN. Boeing had invited a bunch of airline execs to the Seattle Gold Cup hydroplane races, and he did the stunt thereabouts for their viewing.

That IS a couple of amazing models.... I'd have never had the nerve to launch the thing, after a bazillion hours of build time and a bunch of $$$. I'd be a little scared to stand there watching it too... if that thing went out of control.. hell, if just ONE chainsaw engine was falling out of the sky, it could hurt, let alone 4 with a small aircraft attached...
