This past weekend I went to 340 defense in Rippon , WV. Its about an hour and a half from DC depending on traffic. they have 4 ranges. pistol, 50 yard, 100 yard and 400 yard range. Most have steels and the pistol range has a dueling tree. These guys are great folks. Its the type of place that you would start with your buddy because you love guns. It was a great time. The owners were on site and very involved with all the fun. I haven't found a decent out door shooting spot here and after I discovered this little gem I will be back. Its close to Charlestown.
