armalite ar10 a4

Well after two years of messing around with ar15 I'm finally getting a ar10 7.62 armalite ar10 a4 with the 20" barrel anyone have one of these? The one I'm getting is used but I got a decent deal what do u guys think its on its way to my ffl.

i have an armalite ar10. not sure about the rest of the model no. it shoots good. if yours has the old style bolt parts they have a full upgrade kit that works nicely if yours gives you trouble. mine did but it was used when i bought it. forgive the pics they are old ones on file.

I've got an AR10A4BF (black,forward assist).Right now I have it set up with a carry handle sight and detachable front sight.Great rifle,and I like it more every time I shoot it.Good choice,post a range report after you shoot it.

Here is my A-2 [Gen 1] model that I bought at a pawn shop for $600 out the
door. I upgraded it with a "Gen 2" bolt catch and added the 6 position stock.

It's in 99% condition and I got the "5 pack" of 20 round mags from Armalite for
only $150. It shoots like butter and the recoil suppressor works great.

It is a 20" upper, but with the collapsible stock it looks shorter. I'm thinking about taking
the barrel down to 18" to make it even more compact but I'm not 100% that it's worth
it, though the shorter version does look better to me and the performance loss of the
18" compared to the 20" is negligible.

My little 'hush puppy' does pretty good. I've been a fan of AR10's for some time.

The target was shot at 100 yrds, 10 rounds from a cold bore before making any scope adjustments ('out of the box accuracy' you could say).
