I found a shoulder stock in shotgun news that will fit my Canadian contract Browning HP. If my P35 has the slot and it is a C&R, is just like those Mauser broomhandle or Lugar board stocks? A legal C&R combination. I don't want to run afoul of the thought police. Has anybody on this board ever looked at one? I assume it is Red Chinese made or from Uncle Chang in Tiawan. Or did they make those stocks in Canada and ship them with the pistols?

I think it is a gray area. I remember hearing that the stock has to be original, but that may have changed. I sure see plenty of inglis's for sale at the gun show with chinese stocks.
By the way, I search EBAY often under the search term "browning high power"--I often see genuine inglis stocks on there going for $175 to 200++. Might be worth it to buy the real thing, just from a piece of mind standpoint, and for future collector status.
One of my regrets is selling the stock-cut inglis I used to own...
