Has anyone purchased a M1 carbine from SOG?

SOG has had M1 carbines brought back from Israel for sale the last few months. They are asking $695.00 on several different makes. Has anyone bought one of these, or have knowledge of
their quality. SOG is up front they have been thru a war or two (meaning wear). I have had pretty good luck buying fom them, I just hate buying blind. I can't find anyone who has bought one
of these.

Since CMP has gone to their auction only rifles I have been amazed at how the prices have shot up on these. If you get one from SOG please do a solid write up on it.

I was buying Garands at the time from CMP and missed the boat on the last carbines they had for sale (I mean last - the few they get now will be auction). I passed these by for years thinking of them as
toy guns. What a mistake - prices are getting crazy on them!

I know a few guys that bought SOG's Garands awhile back. They were pretty beat up. They would have returned them but as I remember they were IHC's so the kept them.
$695.00 is not that good a deal for a Import marked carbine. I see good non import marked carbines for sale on various forums in the $600.00 range very often. You just have to be patient and be read to jump when one comes up for sale
