Thanks. Yup, which is part of it's appeal for me.
One more pic for sizing reference:

OAL is a smidge over 27" with the 16" barrel attached.

I really like it. 1.5 magnification, Swarovsky clarity and an easy donut reticle. Definitely better than irons for me, but not as fancy as the modern red dots and holo sights.

Thanks - I knew you'd appreciate the DPCU gear, even if it is a hodge-podge collection of new and old, 90s and current gear!
Though they are (currently) embarrassingly new and unscuffed, I am most pleased with those current issue kangaroo skin boots - I had to call in a lot of favours to get a pair.

That is easily fixed! :085:
I like the 20" barrel! I plan to get one for mine and add the bayonet band for the full-sized F88 look.

Thanks.
I think I got a pretty good deal for the rifle with 16" barrel and black stock set for $2400. It has some honest wear on the receiver from the charging handle, so isn't in the collector's grade level. I then spent far too much on accesories and other stuff for it.
BTW: I now have the trigger pull down from 8lbs to 3.6lbs

I've ordered a meter of 1000D DPCU material to get a custom case made, as well!

Thanks guys.
It's a joy to shoot - especially with the lightened trigger. Definitely my favourite shooter now.
Retro Tactical is making a case for me out of the DPCU material I had sent over, so I'll post a few pics when I get that back.

How does it do for accuracy and how far out can you reach and still hit something? It may have been mentioned, but isn't that scope about 2 1/2X??

It's a x1.5 optic made by Swarovski.
Accuracy with a 16" barrel AUG is about the same as a 20" barrel AR - the difference being either the higher quality build (I know AUGs chrono higher velocities from equal barrel lengths as ARs) or just the addition of the built-in optic.
At 300 yards we were plinking 6" steel all day long yesterday.

Very nice! Those Swarovski scopes are darn expensive!
