There was a huge estate auction this weekend in Pahrump NV. I watched most of it live online today and saw some interesting things come accross the block. This was a 2 day event with mostly modern and shotguns yesterday and C&R and antique today. I thought you guys would enjoy scrolling through the catalogs and seeing what this stuff actuall sold for.
There were over 800 pieces sold over the 2 days. The collection belonged to one guy who must have spent a lifetime putting this together. LOTS of Mausers, Mosins, Krags, 1903's etc and even several Arisakas including some very interesting variations. By and large, I was surprised at how much some of this stuff sold for. If anyone is looking to sell some things, this could provide a current guide of value. Anyway, I thought some of you might find this interesting. Enjoy.

There were a boat load of Mosins sold today including this "NIB" Polish M44. I would have bid on this one! $180 is cheap.

Sorry 'bout that
I didn't find out about it until Friday myself and never could register for a bidding account. I got the confirmation email from them AFTER today's auction ended. Too bad. There were several items I would have liked to add to my collection too!

Man that sounds like a good deal. Not to steal the thought of the thread. But what type do you have? I want just one rolling block that still shoots.

I was just raggin' you Rick... :icon_biggrin: I've tried to get in on those type of auctions before, and like you said it's almost impossible to get setup to be allowed to bid, before the auction is over, unless you do so two weeks before the damned thing starts.
The companies that are doing these things are not very good at registration and confirmation.

I saw some interesting rifles and prices listed. Too bad I wasn't there - but then again, I'm not sure the wife would believe that I brought all the rifles (I bought) to the range that day and was just cleaning them up and putting them away (or the fact that I had to buy another safe). That excuse usually works for one or two. Tom

I tried that website ONE TIME when there was an auction with firearms..
Yeah!!
The $600 K31 is a good indication as to why I only visited that site ONCE....
