At first I thought I didnt need another .22LR gun. Then I came to my senses as this is an STG44. Yep, this is on my list.
Those look pretty cool.
I wish they wouldn't have left the side of the mag open though.

Form what I''m reading and seeing about the 44 from the SHOT coverage it looks like it's going to have a polymer/plastic body. There's some pretty good closeups of it on the net and it's definitely either a mix or mostly plastic. Still for 5 bills it's going to be a buy.

When they make them in 7.92 Kurz and import more then 200, I'm in.
This is like wanting a M-60...in .22lr.
Its cool, but not what I want.

I agree. I mean don't get me wrong I applaud them for making these. But if they are mostly plastic, IMO it's one step up from an airsoft (one that goes bang). That said, I'd still consider one just for the novelty. The MP40 sounds intriguing as well if it's in pistol form.

Your kidding right? A M-60 in .22lr, that would be awsome!!! Or how about a SAW??
http://www.everydaynodaysoff.com/2009/11/30/ruger-1022-to-m249-saw-stock-conversion-kit/ It needs to be belt fed though..
If the STG is mostly plastic, Ill pass, If it is "made as close to original specs as possible"... I'm listening..to me that would be stamped metal, or at least machined metal...even aluminium.
