I live in Indy, so it is pretty easy to get anywhere in the state in 1-3hrs. Also within 2.5hrs of Chicago, parts of KY, Most of OH.
The big Indianapolis gun event is the Indy 1500 gun & knife show, which happens 4 times annually at the Indiana State Fairgrounds (about 2miles from my house). It is usually a pretty big show.

Check the link for dates...next one is March 16th, 17th & 18th..next weekend!
So, if you're in town sometime, or just passing thru, lemme know and we could check some local shite out. I can recommend some fun things to do around the city.
Oh, and GO COLTS!

I was in Indy for a few days over Thanksgiving break. Not a bad little place. The one thing that got to me was all the Colts CRAP though. ;)

Heehee! LOL.
Hey, the won a frickin Superbowl! I'll be a grinnin fool fer another 12months, at least. :)
I saw you were a Hossier, Mortars. 1 hr north of Evansville, is that in the Bloomington area? Colombus?
I'll be making some trips south in IN this summer, I wanna come check out those mounds and stuff on the Ohio River. I hear they blow the Mounds in Muncie away, and they just added some new stuff from new digs there.
I have a buddy that used to have a cabin outside of Tell City. that was waaay down there.
If you make it up to indy next week for the G&K show, PM me next week and we could meet up there, if you're interested. I 'll be with me daughter and a friend ot two.

yeah they found like two more mounds and in june maybe you can help find a good cetme

Yeah, I was reading about the two other mounds, wanna see that!
Sure, if you got a place that stocks CETMEs, I'll bring my feeler gauges, and we'll bust one apart in the guy's shop! We may be able to tell without disassembly whether or not the bolt is ground by looking thru the eject port and looking for the bevel on the bolt head. (The only real way to tell is to bust the CETME down and get out the calipers...)

to the 1500. I was mildly surprised at the great prices on ammo and rifles. again, pistolas were a bit pricier than at the local shops.
Took my daughter (4) with me, met a buddy working at the USMC vet booth and he gave her a hat and I entered the raffle for that 20ga. over/under.
odiontia32m, didya get anything cool?

Steelcore...I visit South Bend to your North pretty often (I have 3 sisters that live there). I took a run over to Chicago a few years back when I was there to the Museum of Science and Industry there...ever been there? Cool place....Amongst a million other cool things, they got a German WWII Stuka dive bomber hanging from the ceiling and a fully intact German WWII U-boat (U-505) there that you can tour through. If you are a History buff it's well worth the trip just to see that. They also have a very good Museum of Natural History in Chicago also. Both are well worth the trip.
