Anyone ever shot this stuff? This ammo is 7.62x51, once fired, with L.C. brass. They are asking $150 for 500 rounds. It looks very clean. What do you think?

Check to see if they are licensed as a ammo manufacturer. In case something happens you want some recourse. As far as price goes, I would jump and save the brass and reload it again and again and again...The boxer primed milspec brass is getting harder to find every day and while that is no bargain, it is at least reasonable.

Georgia Arms has a pretty good reputation.
I've never tried their 7.62x51 (I will though), but I've used lots of their .223, 9x18 Makarov, and .380 loads.
It's been as good as any factory ammo.
It does come in plastic bags, not boxes though.

This stuff comes loose in a 50 cal. ammo can.

I called Georgia Arms and they do have it, but no longer at $150 per 500 (it's now $195 per 500 or $100 per 250).

It's called canned heat and is listed here (the price per 250 is not yet listed on the web page):

that it was Lake City NATO brass? The old phone call trick?

Man, 40 cents a round! OMG!

Puhleeze someone import some 762NATO soon, or I'll have to decide whether or not I wat gas or ammo...and hey, I gotta bike...but carrying all I do to the range on a bike would be tricky.

Hey, I know...I just put it all in a 'tactial wheelbarrow" (remember that shite? LMAO!) and tow it behind my bike.

Yep. 1-800-624-6861

40 cents seems very expensive now, but I fear it may soon seem cheap (compared to what's available).

FWIW, the .223 (5.56) i got from Georgia arms has been very high quality. Better than most 5.56 surplus.

I think Federal (or winchester?) was selling new production NATO 762 for 50 cents per round...I wonder hao that stuff compares?

How did you find out ...
that it was Lake City NATO brass? The old phone call trick?

I opened the can and looked at it. L.C. headstamp with a NATO cross.

I can't find it on their web site.

It is for sale locally in Louisiana.

I imagine not too many commerical reoladers are going to do much except buy once fired lc military ammo. I remember though just last year or so the surplus excess lake city stuff was going for these prices or less.
