it really loooks simple to make a nice wood grip. i might have to give it a go at seeing how expensive the real ones are.
i like the bigger grips anyways, my hands need some meat to hold onto!

They sell all sorts of stock sets, plust just grips, and list them by them selves. Ironwood would count as a us made part too.

Richl, remember that on most lower cost ak rifles, the pistol grip was a conversion part for 922r, thus us made, there are grips out there that are imported thus I would check for compliance of the firearm, either change to a us made grip if your grip is a compliance part, or change out a non us part for one to keep the rifle in compliance.
