PLEASE everybody!! contact ebay with your disappointment with the new gun policy starting aug 15th. I sent them this message:
I wish to voice my disappointment for Ebay's new gun policy. I have purchased many gun parts over the years using your services, all of which are legal to purchase ANYWHERE in the country. This new policy will do NOTHING to stop crime or violence, it will only cut into the profits of ebay. If you would like to do something to help our community, try removing PORNOGRAPHY from your service. In the meantime I will be reviewing my need for your services, as I prefer to support business's that support and uphold Americas constitutional freedoms. Thank you for the years of good service you did provide, perhaps upon reviewing your new policy we may still be able to do business again in the future.

I encourage everyone on this forum to send this message or something like it as well. It probably wont make a difference, but we have to try. :America:
Thanks everyone, Dan

Since I'm not much of an E-bay kinda guy, what's the change? Do they no longer sell parts or parts kiits, or have they removed any and all firearms related stuff? I generally just give Shotgun New advertisers hell.
Thanks in advance for any info.

They are banning the sale of any gun related parts that are necessary to fire a gun. what all that entails only time will tell, stocks, slings scopes carry handles all not necessary on most guns, but will probably be banned:jerkoff:

F them. I will still use them as I find really good deals on computer part and stuff. But it does suck as I have bought many gun related item. So is a bayonet gun related? After all, it is a knife, but it just so happens if goes with the gun. I wonder if they will ban air soft crap? Good point on the porno. Guess if the ever ban it I will have to make the trip to the local megaplex!!

Screw Ebay, vote with your check books and don't give them your money. Ebay went south in 1999 and I have used it only a few times since then. Us writing emails to a bunch of sissy liberals isn't going to change anything.

The only thing they worry about is money, its letters from the other side that prompts them not to allow sales of gun related materials and such, thus they feel that side of the asile is more important to them. Just walk with your dollars, that will have the greatest effect. Remember its their store, not yours and you dont have to shop there.

Although I agree us gunners not using eBay is the best route to go it is like taking a handful of sand off the beach thinking we will personally erode the beach ourselves.
Our not patronizing eBay will not put eBay any where near financial stress.

This really sucks. Evil bay had good deals on brass and bullets that I was stocking up on, but I will definitely take my money somewhere else. I will write them to let them know how much this pisses me off and how little good it will do, but nothing will change. The few of us that get mad and leave will be such a small percentage as to not even be missed, but they will still know how I feel. :)

Dear Ebay, I have bought many accessories for my assault rock garden over the years. Your plan to ban these parts will make it very difficult for me to complete such things as my Tomarock kit. Also how will I complete the arrows for my assualt bow without authentic reproduction arrowheads, aka sharp rocks? I am disappointed that you place your priorites with the sharp stick people just because they are too klutzy to safely handle rocks and atheir accessories.
Sincerely, Cihief Rockslide

Are they getting rid of brass and bullets too? The market isn't drying up for the items they're banning so sellers will just move somewhere else. Most likely Gunbroker.
Has there been any talk from uBid on their stance on parts for firearms (not full firearms) related sales?

Auction Arms Response to Ebarf Policy. I think I know where to get my fix, seems like a good deal for us EX-evilbayers. :)

I used to get a lot of gun parts from Ebay but gunbroker and others will get my business now, However being that i work on vintage cars and trucks i will still use them in that department.
