As said, very nice. I have seen a couple at one of my local ranges. About as close as I will get to one.

There is a gun shop in Westerville, OH (at least when I left there in 2004) that had one of those beautiful 7.62x51 belt drive guns…transferable, it had a price tag of $43,000! How I want one - if only I were to ever hit the lotto!

I would like to have one of those but my need for one with everything I have is nil! I have a friend with a 1911 belt fed kit and already have the side plate, trunnion and barrel shroud with several .308 new barrels. That's what I should build. I really like belt fed HK's though! Nice piece!!!

Just what every 1911 needs. LOL

Well, first, the G3 was introduced way later (1959) than the Nazi's time in Germany. So there was for sure no "Nazi" considering how cool or uncool the name was.
Secondly, it was not called Cetme because it was not a Cetme, but a licensed product with different specs (7.62 NATO vs. 7.62 CETME caliber).

The German.
