My name is Tom. I used the name Rampager on Cetmerifles. I suppose most think I use the name Rampager in the shooting context, but actually it's stems in my case from the name of a little Dodge truck (Rampage) that I fixed up and put a supercharger on.

I like the idea of the new form and appriciate those who have stepped up to keep things going, and by no means harbor any ill feelings to those who have "passed the torch" onto the new guardians of what I hope will be another excellent forum.

I must admit I'm a little sorrowful at the thought of deleting the link in my favorites to cetmeriflies.com, its been the only forum that I frequent on a regular basis and have come to think of folks there as trusted friends and kindred spirits.

BUT…

I am also encouraged at the sight of familiar names coming over to the new forum and have high expectations that the “code of conduct” that I’d come to appriciate at cemterifies.com will come to be the standard here as well.

I am Ray and live out in Arizona. I am relatively new to the roller style weapons family. I purchased my HK91 Jan 2006 and I just purchased my MARS in Jan 2007. I am mainly interested in WWII military rifles, but am game for anything that piques my interest. I have a relatively small collection, about a dozen rifles and half dozen pistols, of semi-auto military rifles and handguns. I became a member of cetmerifles.com about a month ago. I currently have 1 cetme, a kit and cast reciever I'm building this spring, an extra bill springfield trigger assembly I need a kit for, 2 ak"s I built, 2 sks's, an fal, a couple of mosin nagants, a sw 40 cal and sw airlight 38 special, and on lay-away at my favorite gun store is a beretta 1201fp shotgun with surefire light, a vector arms uzi and to top it off, a M1A match rifle that has me so hot and bothered. Never thought I would own one of those. Its good to see so many names from cetme rifles here. Alot of you have given valuable advice since I joined a few years back, and I'm sure I'll need more. averagejoe (aka seth) checkin out the new site. many thanks to Chris for the hard work. my first rifle was a CETME i picked up at a gun show November 2005. everyone on cetmerifles.com helped me take a dangerous CAI monkey job to an in-spec, accurate battlerifle. that began the addiction. 15 months and 15 guns later (curse that C&R i was encouraged to get) my wife has accepted that she is married to a junky (and a broke one at that).

the loss of knowledge recorded at cetmerifle.com is staggering, i was eagerly awaiting the conclusion of Perro's mega post on all controversial issues on bolt gap, headspace, etc.....

oh well, from the ashes, i'm confident this site will rise to new heights!
