My Finn M91 is being refinished right now.

I will post pics once it gets done-- the furniture is soaking in peanut oil time now

Not to hijack....but how do you do that?

A big vat of peanut oil!?? Wrap stock is peanut oil soaked rags??

What's your technique??

That one perplexed me as well but I solved it last week

Galvanized steel tubing with and end cap-- like the kind you use for stove chimney's. I secured the end cap on a 5 foot piece of 6" tubing and then caulked every place it could leak with bathroom caulk. Place the stock inside and fill with peanut oil. Used about 3 gallons to fill it..it leaked a little because my caulk missed one spot but I put it in a 5 gallon jug to catch any leaks.

For shorter pieces I used a 2 foot planter with the holes caulked up

nice finn 27 near where i live there was a nice m27 for sale but they wanted 425.00 for it. and i was saveing to get my m39 pl at the time. i did'nt know m27s went for that much
