Sure are cheap, I know the VZ58 uses a different receiver than an AK, but does anybody make a receiver for them?

Ohio Ordnance Works (http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/semi-auto/VZ2000-rec-kit.html) makes a complete build package. Milled receiver, and compliance parts.

It's only $700 for the package.

Nothing like an ak, just looks like one. Interesting though they have a higher rate of fire than an ak too. Milled receivers too.

They make nice dummy guns too:

Cool pic, the Prexis deal seems like a pita, OOW has the whole package and after screwing around getting compliance parts with a Prexis reciever and welding and machining, why bother. I have two, one that I'm going to build and a dummy reciever on the other. Spare parts hanging on the wall. I think back to my childhood and don't remember anything that cool!!

If you can build an AK, these are even easier. The "HARD" part is coming up with 7 pictures of ol' Ben (http://chickchat.ivillage.com/love/BigBen.JPG) for each build.

Dont forget that these use different mags than a ak also. If I were wanting one I would make sure I had plenty of mags for them.
