If you get a chance the Rock and roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland. I have never had a chance to check it out personally but I would love to.

Okie, I was just there last month.

+1 on the rock and roll hall of fame and just down the street (very close) is the USS Cod WWII submarine which is very cool to tour:

Also right there behind the rock and roll museum is a huge steamship freighter you can tour which was interesting too:

There is also a science museum right there too. The cool thing is all of these things are right next the each other so you can easily walk to each.

+1 on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I was there probably ten
years ago. They had a lot of it closed off to the public because
of the new inductee's were to be there the next day, with
about half of it closed, I thought it was neat. There were these
stations where you could use a touch screen panel to pick
song from whoever and whenever and listen to them through
headphones and there was a couple of movie theaters in there
that told the story of rock & roll in a series, you moved from
movie to movie. There is also a submarine just down the street
a little piece from the Rock Hall, not sure if it is tourable or not,
but it looks neat from the hi-way.

MAN, do I type slow or what, actually the wife called and interupted me.

Not this weekend? the Cleveland Air Show is this weekend, one of the oldest and best in the nation.
Cleveland also has a worldclass art museum, and a terrific auto/aviation museum.

The Fredrick C. Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum in University Circle is one of my Favorites. Until I retired last year, their restoration shop was next door to my company. We Assisted them in restoring an Indy car that Clark Gable drove in a racing movie. The Crawford Auto Museum is on University Circle near the Art Museum. It is a 15 minute drive from the downtown waterfront where the Rock & Roll Museum and the U.S.S. Cod are.

When I first moved out here, I thought there was absolutely nothing to do; was I wrong. As mentioned already, the Rock & Roll Museum is a must to visit while out here. If you're into cultural sites, visit some of our nice Art/History/Nature museums located in the University Circle area just 15 minutes east of downtown. Avoid using Euclid Ave. to get that way since it's undergoing major construction, instead, use I90E and exit off Martin Luther King.

If you like visiting zoos, check out the Metropark Zoo about 5 minutes south on 71 (exit Dennison Ave)

Another must is this nice shooting range in my backyard!

Well, I finally got the chance to meet the great okie shooter! Really had a great time, even though it was just talking and looking over my collection. Next time, I won't mix up the days.

Second Charlies post, had a good evening at his house, if I ever could get driving in the dark directions right though, had to drive by twice. Would have loved to see the rifle range setup though.

Its always nice to meet the folks you talk to on this forum and others. Thanks for having me out.

Time was good on Wenesday, went down to the lake front/down town, saw some of the neat stuff you guys have there in Cleveland. I am amazed how dang hilly that city sitting by the lake is though.

AMD, I'll have to remember you're there, too. Now that the weather is turning reasonable, I don't mind visiting you OH folks one bit. Whether shootin the 5hit3 or shootin rifles.

I'm on vacation to upper Ontarion next week, by then the midwest should be cooling down (I hope)

As I've always stated, anyone and everyone of my forum brothers/sisters are welcome by the house. Let me know ahead of time and I can make plans to meet up to dine out or shoot the 5hit or ammo.
