Found what I've been looking for. Bought a Lancaster arms Underfolder. In checking their web site it appears to be a Polish. Stamped receiver, slant brake, synthetic pistol grip, wood forened. $550 brand new. Now I need some more mags (suggestions?) and a bayonet.
Gonna shoot it tommorow, Will post pics as soon as I can find the camera.

Can't go wrong with the cheap romanian mag's, everyone sell's em and they work good. I have romanian, yugo, chinese and bulgarian and they all seem fine.

as far as mags go hey are cheap normally 15 bucks or so for the thirty rounders, and most of them fit great. as far as bayos go those are easy to find as well, especially the romy ones, they have them brand new at most places still in the cosmo with the wirecutter frog and everything for under twenty bucks.

Congradulations, Welcome to The Wonderful World Of AKs!
For mags, stick to any of the original mags, US mags are hit and miss at best.
Yugoslavian "Bolt Hold Open" mags, are good but only hold the bolt open until the mag is removed, in my opinion, not a good feature and I avoid paying extra for them.
Since you have a Polish PMKMS, look around the different forums, its easy to find Polish accessories.

Oh, I suspect they will multiply. Thinking of a HB Bipodded drum mag'd next followed by a Tantal in 5.45

congrats on the AK, it sounds like you got a good one. a kalashnikov of some sort is vital to any collection, preferably several.
But I demand pictures :)

Exactly!

No pics, = :banned1:
And so far as mags, stick with any of the Euro surplus ones, they all work fine. I miss the old days of 4 30 rounds mags in a pouch for $19.95...

There are no more "cheap" ak mags, if you can find them near 10 thats the best price on them I have seen for a while, when the getting was good three to four each was good. I picked up a guys chinese bunch for about six fifty to seven but had to buy over a dozen but heck I have too many aks and need to catch up.

If you upload to photobucket, it automatically resizes your pictures to be suitable for most forums. Been using them for years and it's free.
Nice looking AK, BTW.
