I just talked to IMA, they have a nice new barrel and lock they are sending me with water connector (repro) and some other smaller fittings I was missing.

Your gun looks great & the tripod also did you just Sandblast & leave it I polished mine just on the edges & the lettering dial & traverse I painted the legs green & all the fittings black looks pretty good waiting for more funds to get Lonnies conversion kit :thumbup:

Yeah its sandblasted, and thats all I did. I will wind up painting the legs but that comes later. I need to get on it too but money is real short right now.

I just picked up an air compressor. I'm not sure if I want to build a cabinet to blast as the only place to keep it would be the basement. No matter how well I seal it, I'm sure the basement would get really dusty. I'll have to wire wheel that one just like my 1928 tripod.
