Yeah, that's the older german made G3 cleaning kit. the newer one has basically the same stuff inside, but is a plastic container. I like the pull-thru chains on them. That design of oil bottle is superior to the newer one which was blow moulded and leaks.

The Germans have a history of carrying their cleaning kits on their load bearing equipment. This is why the East German AKs are the only ones w/o a cleaning kit compartment in the buttstock.

This is a Cetme cleaning kit and it rides in the Cetme behind the bayonet lug
