Howdy all
I am hosting this chat gateway on my personal server. It is very easy to use.
Point your web browser here: http://www.novarata.net/cgi-bin/irc.cgi and you'll come to this form:
http://www.novarata.net/cgiirc.jpg (http://www.novarata.net/cgi-bin/irc.cgi)
At this screen, you can input your forum handle or anything else you would like to go by. You don't have to put anything at all, as it will assign a random nick. Once you've gotten your nickname figured out, hit "Login" and join us :)

Hey guys, this is what we have waiting for. Believe me, nalioth put a LOT of time in getting this to work for us to use. And he suffered a lot of aggrivation too :sorry: getting this to work. How about "I can't get this part to work with this part and I need help" so whomever is on hits the chat room and works it out then hangs around to BS a while. You don't even have to have a problem, just a nice place to hang out and chat.

This couldn't be easier to use. Heck it even works through the firewalls here at the office.

I stopped in but everyone stopped talking. I guess I should have showered before I came.

I stopped in but everyone stopped talking. I guess I should have showered before I came. Sometimes a bit of patience helps. Enigma is in school (but logged in to the chat), and I putter around the house and check the screen every few minutes as I pass by.

Depending on the network state, it may take a second or three (maybe more, maybe no time at all) for your text to show up. If your kids/roomates/neighbors are all downloading Oprah, your lag time may be up there. . .

Any interest in this? We've had no conversation in the chat room in weeks. People join, LOOK, and leave.
Ya need to say "Hi" :)

Milsurp afterhours has a scheduled chat every Sunday. Maybe we should have a scheduled time to meet.
