I Need Help on CETME stock questions!?!?!?!?

I have a Century Arms CETME it came with a Plastic stock, I bought a Wood H&K stock set. I switched the spring and round thingy at the end and put it on my CETME it fired 1 time and the chamber stayed open. Is there a way i can put the wood from the H&K stock onto the Metal from the plastic stock that fit??? I would appretiate all and any help. Thanx

Either the guild rod spring retainer is too big and binding the bolt carrier, or the guide rod is bent. Regardless its a quick fix to remove some material off the retainer or to bend the rod back straight.

As far as swapping, generally no, you cannot swap HK furniture to a Cetme buttstock retainer because the retaining bolts are different lengths and but buffer holes don't line up.

Since you have a Century US made plastic stock you need to be very careful of violation 922r and installing another imported part. Rustypirate has a nice post on the Cetme and 922r in the Cetme/HK FAQ.
