ok it's not a real event, it's just our officers getting together for an officer shoot. David Poe, DPOE came out to shoot photos because he is the new photo editor... he did a good job, but the damn copy desk idiots(the oones who piece the stories togeher and write some titles) titled it "don't ever mess with a man who has a gun"... WTF man that's just jacked up

anyhow.. here are the photos from our awesome event:

yeah you should've. we're STILL not chartered because of all the talks we've had with admin. It's freak'n hard, but i believe submitting this constitution this time will be the last time. It meets their requirements and we're still able to function. That's 8 months of emails, calls, letters and meetings.

I have one of them mossburg 500 with the dual bead sight. Just like that one.
Its the sight on that thing. It rocks. Clay pigoens form a spring launcher was so boreing that we would double and triple load it, having all the clays go in different directions. Even will all that going on we would only miss 2-3 per box of shells.

Henry I like Rex's 28 Ga SXS.. Man that takes skill to use the 28 on clays. I used a 4.10 and found it very hard but fun.
I always wanted a 28 or 4.10 SXS.
Great pictures and looks like you have a good club there.

Excellent, Henry!
Nice photos, nice weaponry, nice crew!

B, b,bb,b,but..... shouldn't everybody have Safari Hats?
And, where's the Baylor Bikini Team? I think it would be very innovative of you to institute cheerleaders at shooting events.

Ugck! if it only didn't say Baylor! Still better than having A&M on it....now the guy that starts a club like that for UT should get a medal!

Henry I like Rex's 28 Ga SXS..
I shot that 28 guage, hit every clay they flung out, i was actually real impressed with how easily you could point it. it's a Czech CZ side by side, all engraved with and has the cool 2 headed eagle crest on it!

sorry, they were staying in my place after that wild night we had...
haha JK

i think UT does have a shooting team. i think they have their own range too. Baylor used to have one of the best skeet teams around, till the adminstration had the bright idea of cutting them off. Hopefully we'll get to bring a team back on top of the ranks!

Henry,
FWIW, I was born in Houston, 1960.
A long time later, here in FL, I had to have back surgery. The doc was 36, and NOT from here, or TX.. NYC... my late mother, being my Mom and all...somehow found a magazine article about the guy, and, as it so happened... the dude had a string of qualifications a mile long.... ONE OF WHICH was having been schooled at Baylor...
That was so very comforting to my motherly Mother that I can't
explain it here... plus... she WAS NOT wrong...she probably did try
to understand the rest of his qualifications... and I WAS 30ish at
that time, and married, and not TOO PRONE TO motherly intervention.... but it was a signifigant event in my life... and me
dear, dear mother rightly thought this guy from Baylor would fix
me... and, he did.
My mother was born in TX...and her parents, and their parents, and their parents... my Dad was also born in TX, although his parents weren't..
