I have recieved my blue letter from the NLC with my C&R Licence enclosed....what do I have to do to get the ball rolling to order some firearms. I know I need some logs and stuff, and NOT to sign the original copy...but what else do I need to do. Thanks in advance.

You need to send a signed copy to everybody out there who you want to deal with, so that you'll be on there record and start getting those great deal.
If they sell surplus weapons,I'd send them a copy.Get on the dealer's list!!
I need to get off my Arse and get one of those.

Make a lot of photocopies, sign 'em "File copy only" or "File copy for [gun distributor/sales outlet name]" and your name.

Some folks use red or blue ink.

You're still required to keep a bound book just like a regular 01 FFL. You can get a decent kit from RK enterprises 805-687-1416

What we did when the wife got hers was to make 100 copies and she signed each one(NOT the original) then sent them to every company we thought we might do business with down the road. Shortly the fliers came rolling in and then we got broke before we got to order anything.:( But the thing is that we could if we had the dough. Keep a record of who you send them to and you won't send them 2 or more later on. Print a page then take it to Kinky's and they will make you a bound book for a few bucks with more than enough pages to hold you over for a while. Also make sure the license is 100% correct with no typo's, address is correct, name spelled right...wtc. If anything is wrong, do not proceed without getting it corrected.

That's a "Personal Firearms Record" and is not intended for use as a bound book. Doesn't have spaces for the additional info you need.
