Anyone ever used Sellier & Bellot .308 in their CETME? I was at Cabela's and I saw they had some 147 grn FMJ for 11.99. Figured since I was their I'd grab a box. It has what looks like a little flaming bomb on the headstamp, not a NATO cross I know but you can win them all ;)
Is S&B brass as weak as reg US commercial?

I know Bullseye has used a fair amount with no problems. :2pistol:
I believe it is corrosive, however.:bann:

Nothing wrong with shooting commercial ammo, just make sure you have a broken case extractor and are prepared to use it.

Any military surplus outlet, just need a standard .308/7.62Nato broken case extractor.

I bought a case of it and shot half with no problems at all. Another guy at the range tried some in his FAL and could not get one round to fire. Left dents in the primers, but would not fire. He had no problem with SA, but could not firs the SB. I shot the SB out of my cetme and Rem700 with not one problem and it was amavingly accurate in my 700. Mine was corrosive in the blue box so if yours says non corrosive, great. :)

There listed at cheaper than dirt, cdnn, and many other surplus/military/ shooting suppliers.
