I am stumped.
So what I see is a fake MG 42 kit with CAR rear stock. An M 4 type pistol grip in front. A M 4 type hardpoint on the front for mounting somthing. What looks like a M 16 A 2 handguards covering the right and left sides of the MG 42 type barrel vent slots
I see an AR type 5.56 mag.
I can't tell what that stuff is from the scope mount to the cone flash hider.
Is an AR 18 under all that?
A Ruger 10/22 with a AR mag pushed in the bottom is my best guess.
Or is it a put on

in the words of the world's greatest philosopher, "Why?"

what a waste of perfectly good MG-42 parts. it was one thing when bubba was building "functional" guns out of milsurps, but this is just... what's the word... gross. it's sad, really....

this very well may be the single worst bubba job I've ever laid eyes upon. Nalioth, where are you finding these monstrosities?

Nalioth, where are you finding these monstrosities?I'm not building them, that's for sure :nonono:

These pix have pretty much stupified me as to "Why", myself.

I don't think that one's even real... at least not a functioning weapon anyway...

that's what makes me wonder if this is just a joke, because that makes no sense at all

The ejection port looks too small for 5.56. I agree, 10-22.

Ya looks like a joke as how much could you put on this thing, Thats not though the 10/22 rifle, heres a pic of that one below. Thats something else different, on the 10/22 the barrel comes out much higher on the receiver.

i thought on MG42's the link chain comes out the side and shell out the bottom

You're right Henry. Shells come out the bottom.

If that is what I think it is, that thing is built off am M60 MG receiver. Which I don't think no way would take .223 ammo, nor can I see any way it could be modified to feed from a box magazine from the bottom.
I tend to agree with Optimus Prime - I sincerely doubt that this is a functioning weapon. I think it was cobbled together out of spare parts and is somebody's idea of a joke.

Check out the sight line on the optics.

If you draw a line parallel with the barrel and then do the same through the optics it looks like the intersect just in front of the front iron sight.

If this thing is real, I would assume its only accurate out to 3" which then explains the way the optics are zeroed.

Clearly on the left side of the gun because their just isn't anything 'right' about it.

Guys remember there are far worse fates for firearms, look at what they used for the firearms in the orginal Star Wars.

Yeh, I bet he brags about it's accuracy within a 3" MOA .... mostly only accurate within three inches. :icon_biggrin:
