AK47 bolt guide rails..

How many places do you weld them in your receivers? I don't have a spot welder handy, so I drill 3 holes on each side in the receiver and weld them in with my cheap-azz flux wire mig. Then grind the welds down, so far they seem to be plenty strong.
I recently saw a thread someplace about spot welding them in at least 4 places, I'm just wondering if I should do some more drilling and welding?

I do 5 on the left and 4 on the right.

I do four on each side with my 30-lb, 30 amp Homier spot welder. These welds then crack under stress of instaling the center rivet, so I do it again, and I wind up with mondo welds and pits in the outside of my receiver. :1087:
