Would it be possible to add a section for dedicated sniper platforms that dont really fall under BattleRifle or boltaction (thou of course I think barret 50 bolts would fall under the sniper platform instead of just bolt actions). Things such as the Dragunov, or SG 550, etc.

A sniper rifle is something the Military uses or something the police use. The rest of us use accuratized rifle to shoot game and targets. A sniper is a job, not something you buy or make.

So, as K said it fits into one of the many catagories we have already.

Of how many catagories of firearms do we need? Yeah I know most of us have our preference, that's one reason to have the "other" catagory. I imagine a lot of us collect such a wide variety that it would be all but impossible to list them all. Likewise it would be hard to put them all in one catagory.

I don't think having a jillion subforums is a good thing, some of us would get lost, and it makes it hard to keep up on topics. Lots of good ideas floating around here.

This site is still young, who knows where it may go, it can only get better.
