Lately it has become very popular for gunsmiths to install HK rear sights onto the back of an AK top cover. Not only does this provide a superior sighting system but it also frees the original rear sight block to be used as an optics mount.

This modification can also be done by many home gunsmiths and we offer all parts necessary for the conversion! First you will need to weld the HK rear sight block to your top cover. Then install the rear sight and mounting hardware. This modification can also be done to Cetme's!
