This test is useless.
The results depend on what test server you click. I tried 3 different test servers and got three different results with differences of over 2000 kbs. Then i wend back to the same three and retested, three new results and 1 was off by 3000kbs

your very right,
Understand that there will be variance between servers in different locations, but at least it gives you an idea of what type of speeds your hitting, that or your particular service could be inconsistent. Either way its not meant to be the be all and end all of tests...

FWIW, that's approximately the connection I had when I ran my DFLW server...allegedly 768 down/ 128 up.

It's all over the map really....... I got results varying from dial-up speeds to good cable speeds........ not exactly useful, but neat I guess. I've used a different one, give me a sec and I'll post it.
