This is the point where I hijack the thread :sterb029:
I used the college rifle club for this "free sample" thingy. But in the past I have used the name of my "home based business" which is really based wherever I'm standing at the moment. with out reveling to much on what I have done in the past and used my business name for, could we get in trouble for this....or is this like the 1st rule of fight club?

keep in mind when you sign up for the free stuff as a business, they will sell your name and address. never give out your e-mail address, you will be swamped with stuff for ever , plus 1 day.
your mail man will hate you.......:icon_biggrin:
ps: signing up under a phony name or business is fraud. :nonono: you may even get on the county, state tax roll list, IRS may then give you a call or send you a letter. the town/city may come by to see if your operating a business in a residentual area. lots of other good things can happen to you and there are a lot more things........

Lucky for me, I make certain purchasing decision at work.
Unlucky for them, All vendors have to be on the State Approved list.

I thought it would be something like that. Thats why I did it under the rifle club name. As I'm in charge of ammo and safety I guess

Mine arrived 10/30
The "no touch" foam look interesting. Those will be the first I try out.
Some of the stuff is just gimmick-y (skull screws and tattoo's) but otherwise. Overall looks like a quality product.
I like the tear apart plastic packaging - No chance of someone sneaking used plugs back into the "big box of disposable plugs"
/I'll be checking several of our vendor catalogs at work to find out pricing...will try to order a case for work
I get all the "free" ear plugs I need from work
Ditto... Better than that though is the 500 first fired .223 brass I can get four times a year from one of the local LEOs. The summer tub was PMC, the one I got last week was FC. Last spring it was LC. Believe it or not, the best of the three, in terms of weight, quality, etc was the PMC.

Mine should be waiting in the box when I get back from classes....I've been having issues with our mail lately and Its really upsetting me. Never had this problem before but there are a bunch of evictions going on right now around us and those people have the "blow up everything before we leave" mentality. And until they are gone I'm not having anything of good size or value sent to the apt. :2pistol:

I agree, most of them really aren't anything special, but some of them look interesting. the advertising brochure that came with it really makes me laugh. apparently, the bright colors and tattoo shapes are supposed to be appealing to my generation, because they look hip or something :icon_neutral:

hip is a body part....not a class of product....thats what my generation thinks lol

Got mine....I'll pass them out in the next few rifle meetings and get some peoples opinion. I need to order a bulk pack of plugs soon cuz I'm running low in my personal stash...they are usually good for a week if they go through the was once or twice :icon_biggrin:
