Seems that ecologists have taken offense to the Rattlesnake Round-up in Sweetwater, TX. They said that the populations may not be sustainable because of this. If any of you have ever been around Sweetwater then you know what they are saying is a bunch of :bull: as there is more than enough snakes to go around. They also said that the way they hunt them is harmful as if is detrimental to scorpins and rodents. I don't know a rancher out there that wouldn't be glad to see those gone. Comment was also made as to the cruel way the snakes were butchered in front of everyone and prepared for eating. Seems the ecologists were the only ones concerned as everyone else there (around 30,000 people) didn't complain.

And yes, I does taste like chicken.

Man I'm like Indiana Jones when it comes to snakes. I absolutley hate them and am glad folks are doing stuff like this. I know they have their role in nature, but don't come near me and I won't come near you.

And I just don't get people who like snakes as pets and stuff. I think they are a little off...doesn't mean I'm right, it is just want I think and frankly I don't care to change my opinion.

I hope this roundup continues...
