Jagman that IS a cool ?pistol/knife? weapon?. Very neat as a collecter.
I don't see in the near future criminals running around with 1300 dollar single shot knife-guns,so I can't understand why they were illegal.
But it is pretty cool.

classed as AOWs, IIRC.
COmbo wepons have had a relly long history. I think some of the axe-guns and gun-maces were pretty cool.
As a general historic rule, combos like gun swords end up being not a very good sword or gun...since their purposes and uses are a bit diff, they rarely work out to be cross-functional..I came up with one good exception, which is the bayo mounted on a long rifle like the Mosin 91/30...the bayo does not apprciably affect the firing of the rifle, and the thing is a freakin pike or club when ya got no bullets!
