This story/saga has always interested me. It was a tragic end for Czar Nicholas II and his family which ushered in a tragic era for millions of Russian people.
Just pondering...but it makes me wonder how different the 20th century may have been if the Bolshevik revolution had not occurred (not that "what if" matters). But I have to wonder what a Lennin-less, Stalin-less 20th century would have been like and how WWII may have been quite different as a result.
