WTB/WTT:
i have finally started pulling out parts to build some fal's. guess what? i cannot find all my compliance parts. i found some of them, but not enough of them.
looks like i have enough receivers and kits to build 15 to 20 rifles, but i only want to build 12 of them for now.
i can buy these items from vendors ( thought i would ask here first), but if you have extras left over let me know and what price you want for them.
remember i have some stuff i can trade also.
this is what i need to start with:u.s. made metric fal stuff only
1. (12) u.s. made ( cocking handle) slides
2. (12) u.s. made gas pistons
3. (12) u.s. made flash suppressors
4. (12) u.s. made fcg
5. (8) ironwoood stocks

thanks everyone............

Planning, If I ever get to live my life over, I wanna find out what you did early on so I can do it too. I think I would absolutely be in heaven in your shoes at times. :)

Planning, mind posting where you found the best prices? I've got a stock set and trying to pick up parts as I find deals.

Thanks,
LIT

i have 25 kits to build and 6 more coming this week.

for compliance parts i went to gunpartsguy.com and if you order over 10 of an item it is a good discount. i bought most everything there to build 12 rifles.

for wood stocks; u.s. made "ironwood"

for izzy fal parts "paul at "gunthings", i needed some metal stuff for the new wood stocks i had.

for flash hiders, mark " gunplumber", he has some L1A1 U.S. made flash hiders and some belgium looking U.S. made fh that i got from him.

"falcon arms" has compliance parts also.

i sent moses ( on fal site)4 barrels to cut down , thread and crown. ( he does a lot of these and it takes time.)

i sent 7 rifles to ken kuben to install barrels, time and headspace.( he does a lot of these and it takes time.

all of them give good service and ship fast. there has been a run on compliance parts and the supplies are getting low.
i did not spend a lot of time hunting for the best prices,( the supply is getting low and if you are not careful you won't get what you need or pay a really high price later on) because they are all close to the same and i was looking for someone that had stuff in stock, but the more you buy from one place the more you will save in shipping.

-->Would that include a stint in the Tet Offensive? :)

I know what you mean, tho...I took away this gem from the Captian Ron's Ammo and Arms Acquisition Planning Institute:
"Buy ammo, buy often, then buy some more. You can never have too much ammo"

SO far, he's right...I'm gonna have to move it to a slab-based place stoon, for fear of finding out what the weight linit is for a 2nd floor closet before it makes its way due south in the house. :):weight_lift:

thanks steelcore & bullseye for the comment, try to deal with people fairly. it needs to be a good deal for both sides. people will seek you out with good deals if they think you will be fair with them.

if your looking at today or tomorrow for gun related stuff your not looking far enough ahead... you need to be looking 3-5 years down the road. ammo is a very good thing to buy, but i have been buying ammo, mosin nagants, ak parts kits, bren parts kits, fal parts kits, compliance parts for all of them, indian 308 enfields,1919a4 kits, mostly gun stuff that is plentiful or avaiable still, you will notice there is a pattern here ; cheap surplus guns, cheap gun parts, cheap ammo buy what you can afford, stay away from the current fad....................if you get caught up in the fad it almost always cost more money.......

good luck..............
