You guys have probably seen this already, but I was very impressed with this guys ingenuity. Quite the craftsman.

There is one out there where the guy made the receiver entirely out of scrap sheets and block of aluminum and bolted the flat peices together to make an ar receiver. Took a little machineing to work but was highly functional. This shows how little stress is transmited thru the receivers of rifles that lock on a trunion or barrel to the bolt, all that is sent thru the receiver is the recoil energy to the buffer and spring.
